My Activities

Amateur Radio is a very large and diverse hobby. There are many many activities to keep any licensed operator busy for many many day, weeks, months, and even years.

Below is a short list of activities that I have or are currently are involved with.

To get more information about Amateur Radio and the hobby, contact your nearest radio club and talk to their members about the activities that. Or you could contact me and I will help as best I can.

I am also looking for some help with an idea I have for an APRS/Webcam project on a RASPBERRY PI platform and mobile broadband as the method of connecting back to the internet. If you can help or have some idea’s, please contact me via my Contact Me page. Click here for more details

My Activities

APRS Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS) is an amateur radio-based system for real time tactical digital communications of information of immediate value in the local area. In addition, all such data is ingested into the APRS Internet System (APRS-IS) and distributed globally for ubiquitous and immediate access. Along with messages, alerts, announcements, and bulletins, the most visible aspect of APRS is its map display
